SureSmile

SureSmile is an FDA-approved orthodontic treatment that uses clear, removable aligners to gradually straighten teeth. The aligners are custom-fit to each patient and are designed to be virtually invisible.

The SureSmile process uses 3D imaging, treatment planning software, and a robot to create customized arch wires that apply force to the teeth. The wires are made from a lightweight Shape Memory Alloy that reshapes itself when heated by the patient's body. This technique is said to be more precise and can reduce the time needed for orthodontic treatment by up to 34%. SureSmile can also be less painful than traditional methods.

During the SureSmile process, a doctor will digitally scan the patient's teeth and work with the SureSmile Digital Lab to create an individualized treatment plan. The doctor can also use the SureSmile Simulator software to create a 3D visualization of the potential treatment outcome.
